**The Role: Garden Maintenance Operative**

This hands-on role focuses on the ongoing care and presentation of high-end landscapes. You’ll work as part of our maintenance team, ensuring every outdoor space we manage remains healthy, functional, and visually exceptional throughout the year.

You’ll collaborate closely with experienced colleagues who take pride in their work and will support your professional development.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out high-standard maintenance including mowing, pruning, hedge cutting, weeding, planting, and seasonal improvements
- Maintain lawns, borders, and planting schemes to specification and schedule
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support the implementation of planting plans and enhancement works
- Identify plant health issues and propose practical solutions
- Maintain clean, tidy, and professional sites at all times
- Follow instructions from the Team Leader and uphold company standards
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and PPE use
- Represent Atlantes Landscapes with professionalism and courtesy

**About You**

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding results, enjoys working outdoors in a professional team, and is keen to develop their technical and leadership skills.

**Essential Requirements**
- 2-3 years’ experience in horticultural or grounds maintenance
- Proficiency in using horticultural machinery and maintenance equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Reliable, hard-working, and committed to high standards
- Awareness of Health & Safety on-site
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

**Desirable (but not essential)**
- Horticultural qualification or equivalent experience
- PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
- CSCS Green Card
