**Core Responsibilities**:The intake and storage of green beans from customers and suppliers. The filling of the green bean silo system. The issuing of green beans to the roasting and production and dispatch areas for processing, packing and dispatch. These activities to be in line with the requirements of the B.R.C, Soil Association, R.F.A and FairTrade accreditation bodies. To work in a safe manner in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.

**Key Tasks**:

- Green bean intake and associated quality paperwork
- Filling the green bean silo’s and recording all details as per the quality paperwork in place and using new scanning system.
- Issuing and recording of the green beans to roasting, production and dispatch personnel.
- Storage of the green beans in the warehouse to conform with our stock recording system.
- Work closely with the coffee buyer to ensure integrity and continuity supply of the green beans.
- Ensure all pallets are wrapped and stored in a safe way in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Work to a ‘clean as you go’ philosophy; this to work in both the green bean store and the yard and walkway areas around the green bean store.
- Work closely with the Quality department and team to ensure strict compliance to our Quality system and stock rotation.
- Ensure all empty pallets stored outside are fully black wrapped and at least 1 meter from the wall of the green bean shed.
- Ensure all machinery used is checked before use for safety issues (primarily forklifts and other lifting equipment)
- Update live stock check spreadsheet daily.
- Reach Folklift and counter balance license.
- Shifts 6.00am - 14.00pm & 14.00pm - 22.00pm on a weekly rotational basis.
- Shift Allowance of £1.50 after 18.00pm to 22.00pm and £3.00 after 22.00pm.
