We’re delighted to be partnering with a leading business based in Southampton to recruit a Senior Credit Controller.This services-based company is part of an international group and offers an exciting opportunity for a someone ideally studying towards qualification(AAT, CIMA or CICM) to be part of an expanding business.
The company operate a hybrid working policy and very occasional travel may be required to other sites to meet external and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Senior Credit Controller include:
- Identify and implement best practice to eliminate process failure
- Support the management of credit exposure through development and evolution of management reporting
- Oversee and complete the allocated technical reconciliations
- Oversight of all bank accounts
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place for technical reconciliations
- Work closely with Credit Control teams
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Complete and oversee the allocated balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure all unreconciled items are investigated
Key competencies required of the Senior Credit Controller:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of reconciliation techniques and process alongside banking system knowledge including and understanding of BACS processes
- An understanding of the technical aspects of Accounting and Credit Management
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
