**Job Title: Full time Diesel Generator Engineer**

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**

Diagnosis and Repair:
Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of diesel generators to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.

Perform timely and accurate repairs to generators, including but not limited to Perkins, Aggreko, FG Wilson, and John Deere models.

Routine Maintenance:
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to enhance the longevity and performance of diesel generators.

Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance activities according to manufacturer specifications.

Fault finding:
Analyse and fault find complex problems in generator systems, addressing issues with engine performance, electrical components, and control systems.

Parts Replacement:
Identify faulty or worn-out components and replace them with genuine parts to ensure the generator's optimal functionality.

Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
Perform load bank testing and other diagnostic procedures to verify the correct operation of generators after repairs or maintenance.

Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

**Qualities**

**Experience**:
Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic, with specific expertise in diesel generators.

Familiarity with Perkins, Aggreko, FG Wilson, and John Deere generator models.

**Skills**:Proficient in fault finding and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, and generator controls.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
