**Thrifty Car and Van Rental are recruiting for Full Time Vehicle Valeter **in our Belfast Branch.**

The key purpose of this role is to ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly prepared for ongoing rental in terms of cleanliness, levels and tyre pressures, paying due attention to any pre or post rental damage as part of the quality inspection process.

**The key responsibilities include**:

- Fuel cars promptly and accurately along with ensuring that petrol sheets are completed clearly.
- Clean interior windows, mirrors, tyre pressures, oil, water and windscreen wash in the vehicles.
- Check all lights, front, back and interior as well as electricals such as the horn.
- Washing and cleaning vehicles to high standards
- Check all items are working correctly at start of day
- To work in a clean, tidy fashion throughout the day and to empty the bins and sweep through at end of evening
- To ensure the security of the compound and vehicles
- Identify and block all sale and turn back cars
- Check vehicles for damage and report to Branch Manager for full investigation
- Move cars as required in accordance with company standards of driving
- Able to deliver and collect vehicles to and from our customers, ensure security checks completed and resolve, and converse with any rental questions, details, or problems

**Personal Attributes**
- Full driving licence with no more than 9 points
- You must have held a full driving licence for more than 12 months
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience is a similar role is highly desirable

**Hours of work**
- 40 hours per week
- We are looking for people who can be flexible to work shifts across the week as the branch is open on weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,824.60 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
