**Title**:Working Team Leader (LA & NLA)
**Position summary**:
The role of the Working Team Leader will be to support the Light Alloy & Non Light Alloys cells of the company. The Working Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating shop staff & work to ensure customer demands are fulfilled.
**Must p**ossesses** the necessary **enthusiasm, drive and desire** to succeed and discipline to achieve significant results for the organisation.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To ensure all employees are adhering to the Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Assist with real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management
- Monitor cell performance, maximising performance from your team and equipment.
- Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates
- Must be an excellent team player and confident communicator at all levels.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Occasionally the Working Team Leader will be required to carry out tasks outside their normal reemit so flexibility is essential.
- Carry out / assist with Tier 1 meetings
- Carry out a return to work interviews
- Releasing work orders as required
- Adherence to TPM activity, plan to minimise downtime
- Assist with resource/capacity & skills matrix reviews
**Minimum Requirements**:
Apprentice trained City & Guilds or equivalent / time served experience with minimum 5 years’ industry experience Leadership skills (advantageous) Excellent communication skills Organisation abilities Computer skills preferred
