**OUR COMPANY**

The Autism Service is a private, psychology-led diagnostic assessment service for children and adults with ASD and ADHD. With NHS waiting lists across the UK at an all time high, we provide an option for people who want to be seen quickly. We currently run from 30 locations across England and Wales and have a reputation for producing the highest quality assessments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the administrative team at our head office in Shrewsbury. You will work as part of a small team handling incoming enquiries from patients and clinicians, and processing bookings. We are a friendly, hard working group and the ability to respond quickly, juggle competing priorities, and be a team player are a must.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The administrative team works directly alongside the director of the company to innovate and improve; your ideas, contributions and suggestions are not only welcomed, but are encouraged. In this fast growing business, there is no limit to your personal and professional development.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing our customers with clear verbal and written information about the services offered.
- Actively promoting our services and encouraging sales.
- Using conflict resolution skills to manage customer concerns.
- Problem solving and finding solutions to immediate issues.
- Escalating queries to a clinical level when appropriate to do so.
- Keeping clear and accurate records of all contacts.
- Completing customer contracts and monitoring payments.
- Working in line with the values of the company and providing five-star care.
- Communicating clearly and with kindness with patients who might be vulnerable or distressed.
- Implimenting confidentiality and data handling protocols.
- Working as part of a team at all times.
- Contributing ideas for efficiency and improvement purposes.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION CRITERIA**

**Essential**:

- **Skills**: Excellent communication (verbal & written), problem-solving, active listening, IT proficiency, time management, interpersonal skills, adaptability, attention to detail.
- **Attributes**: Positive, empathetic, resilient, team player, committed to improvement.

**Desirable**:

- **Experience**: Administrative experience within the NHS or an equivalent service.
