**Support Worker**

Exciting opportunity to work with a young man with a Hypoxic-Ischaemic Brain Injury

Our client is a 13-year-old boy who has an acquired brain injury, visual impairment, fine and gross motor skill impairment, global developmental delay, and Epilepsy. He lives at home in Swindon with his Mum, Dad, and older sister. He is a happy and social little boy and has a love for music, holidays, and using his iPad. He is dependent on others to meet all his care needs. Due to his visual impairment, he uses sighted guidance, and he requires the use of a wheelchair when out of the house. This is a busy, active family home.

We have a range of shifts available including: before school 06:30 -08:30, after School 16:00-20:00 and weekend day support 10:00-1800.

The Support team will work on a 4-week rota with possibilities of overtime.

Pay Rate and Holiday pay is accrued as you work.

**Essential Requirements Include**:
Ability to work using their own initiative, excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred**:
Previous experience in a similar role, flexibility to work the hours agreed, full driving licence, a positive attitude, a caring disposition and able to initiate activities.
