**EDP** part of **RSK Group** are seeking an experienced **Asbestos Consultant**, to join our successful, experienced and expanding national asbestos team on a **Permanent,** **Full time** basis. This is a **Home based** role with commutability to **Livingston **needed, and will require some travel as and when required.
**EDP** is an international health, safety and environmental consultancy founded over 25 years ago with offices throughout the UK and with international operations in Australia, Singapore, and Ireland.
**Asbestos Consultant**
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling
- Carrying out asbestos monitoring and clearances/ Certificate of Re-occupation
- Preparing accurate reports of your work in standard formats
- Maintaining and building on good relationship with clients.
- Managing projects and small teams
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role, within an UKAS accredited organisation
- P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA
- Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to write accurate and concise technical reports
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task
- Team worker, able to build rapport within an established team
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly, as well as working weekends on occasions.
- Full drivers’ licence.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week plus overtime (when required)
- Salary; Up to £35,000 + Car Allowance
- Home based
- Annul leave allowance of 33 days including public holidays
- National travel as required.
