**OPPORTUNITY AWAITS AT SCAPE**:
**Location**: Scape, Leeds

**Hours**: 40 hours per week. Your normal working hours will be on a shift basis to cover the hours of 07:00 and 20:00 Monday to Sunday each week. You will also be part of an on-call rota which will include evenings and weekends.

**As a Maintenance Operative, your main responsibilities would be**:

- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more)
- Carry out fault finding and leak investigations
- Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations
- Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities
- Complete reports and paperwork as required
- Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out
- Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager
- Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site
- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Participate in regular, structured on-call system within the UK
- To be responsible for all keys and locks within the site
- Undertake painting duties where applicable
