**Teaching Assistants**

**Location**: Spalding / Donington

**Salary**: £17,850 - £19,124 per annum (Actual)

Due to securing further funding, the Governors of this Multi-Academy Trust wish to extend the student support team by appointing further Teaching Assistant’s to join the SEN Teams at Cowley Academy and Spalding Academy.

If you are enthusiastic, committed, confident and able to work as an integral part of the SEN Team, they would love to hear from you.
- Be willing to undertake personal care training or is trained and has experience of it;
- Be a team player;
- Be assertive, pro-active and show initiative;
- Adopt a consistent approach to all students;
- Have a sense of humour.

Essential for the post is the ability to establish mutually respectful and supportive relationships with their students. The work will be challenging but rewarding and experience of working with students of secondary school age would be an advantage althoughnot essential, as would NVQ2 or above. Notwithstanding this, they would consider personality and commitment of the utmost importance.

Full training will be given.
