We are a rapidly growing small, local business and online retailer that manufactures pre fabricated lead roofing products for sale around the UK from our workshop in Newquay.

Due to an increase in demand we now require an enthusiastic person to join our small friendly team.

**Job description**

Quality is at the heart of our products, meaning you will need to work to the highest standards whilst maintain targets and workload.

It will be a varied role as we have a growing range of different products and aim to introduce more to the market so you will be open and adaptable to change and development. You will be trained to produce all of the products and use different machinery and equipment requiring safe and professional operation.

As a small business you will be required to work closely with others, assist in a range of roles and areas such as cutting and fabricating, packaging and dispatch, general organisation and tidying of the workshop.

You will have a base level of fitness as the role can be physically demanding.

We offer full training.

**Key tasks**
- To work in a small team based at our workshop in Newquay fabricating roofing products made out of lead for mail order.
- Boxing and shipping products
- Making and fabricating stock
- Ensure swift and effective manufacturing processes

**Requirements**:

- Must have a meticulous, disciplined approach and work of a high level of accuracy and quality when it comes to cutting, and measuring.
- Be comfortable achieving order targets and working to deadlines.
- Previous lead welding experience would be advantageous but not necessary.
- Competent in using hand / machine tools and happy to work in a workshop environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
