**ROLE PROFILE**:
We are looking to recruit a Group Finance Assistant to support the Head of Finance for a leading property company based in central Bournemouth.

We are looking for someone who is confident and professional with strong numerical skills and a high attention to detail.

The role offers hybrid working.

**KEY DUTIES**:
**Monthly, Weekly & Daily Tasks**
- Posting all transactions on all company bank statements and reconcile on a weekly basis
- Prepare & Reconcile the Monthly Direct Debt collections
- Take sole responsibility that the Direct Debit collection process runs smoothly
- Raise any ad-hoc sales invoices that maybe requested from other Depts within the Group

**Month End Procedures**
- Run Sage Nominal Activity Reports for the month
- Ensure all regular monthly supplier invoices have been posted
- Check the sales nominal codes for any income that is future dated and prepare deferred Income Journal
- Prepare and post monthly payroll Journal
- Prepare and post staff recharge invoices/intercompany journals
- Assist with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts

**Quarterly Procedures**
- Prepare Quarterly VAT Returns for all companies including partial exemption calculations, reconciling to VAT nominal codes in Sage
- Submit online to HMRC once authorised by Group Finance Manager

**Year End Procedures**
- Run Sage Reports to be included in the Year End packs to send to Accountants
- Run P&L reports from Sage and check to Monthly Management Accounts
- Assist with collating information for Year End packs

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- At least leve 3 AAT qualified
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounts or finance experience
- Proven experience dealing with payroll, VAT and month end procedures
- Ability to work proactively and independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a team
- Good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and SAGE 50
- Experience working with multiple companies
- Experience of purchase and sales ledger input
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels to gain results
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
