Internal Sales Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing industry leader as an Internal Sales Coordinator. Whilst the their chosen market has some big players, both nationally and internationally, this business prides itself on it superior level of service offered,using both innovative and creative solutions to meet customer objectives. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
The role will require you to manage selected accounts from enquiry to the final stages of production, delivery and invoicing. You will need to gain an in depth understanding of the customer requirements and maintain clear channels of communication with thecustomer throughout the process.
Responsibilities;
*Build and maintain good working relationships with customers to ensure an in-depth knowledge of their requirements is developed.
*Create accurate specifications for approval.
*Produce accurate quotations ensuring a clear understanding of the customer's brief while optimising internal and group production capabilities.
*Manage the production of customers' samples in line with their requirements.
*Proactive management and prioritisation of customers' orders, artwork, tooling, approvals and changes.
*Accurate interpretation and processing of customer orders coupled with the confidence to question if clarification is required.
*Speedy responses to customers' information requests.
*Liaise with the Design Department to ensure the design is accurate and fit for purpose.
*Liaise with the Planning Department to secure production capacity and transport to ensure lead times meet customer requirement and are achievable.
*Secure cost approval from the customer for any additional costs incurred.
*Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure all elements are included in the invoice at the correct value.
*Proactive management of order delays and customer queries / complaints.
*Working with the Planning and Production Controlling Departments to ensure both internal (stock) and sales orders are planned and processed in line with the required delivery dates.
*Liaising with External Account Managers as necessary.
*Creation of both customer and internal reports as needed / requested.
*Troubleshoot throughout the order lifecycle, liaising with the customer, Account Manager and production teams as relevant.
*Communicate with the customer, Account Manager and production teams throughout the order lifecycle; be the go-to person for your customers.
*End to end project ownership.
*Well organised and able to work effectively and calmly under pressure with a high level of tact and diplomacy, discretion and able to communicate and motivate via both verbal and written media.
*Team player, with a real 'can-do' attitude.
*Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work calmly when under pressure, ensuring a high level of tact and diplomacy.
*Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
*A true 'team player' with the ability to constructively assess your own performance.
This is an office-based position, 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
