Job Title**:Mobile Security Engineer - Threat Analysis**

Permanent

On-site three days a week / two days working from home

Brief:
Our client are a global giant in the consumer electronics industry.

They are looking for someone to join them developing their mobile security platform for Android mobile devices.

You will be responsible for providing expertise in the area of mobile security vulnerability analysis to strengthen overall device security.

As you will be working in a team, it is essential to have good inter-personal and communications skills. Role needs good understanding of Mobile Security including latest technologies and processes. You will assist developers to enhance overall device securityin line with internal processes for security improvements and maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- On a regular basis, carryout systematic vulnerability analysis of mobile products to discover potential vulnerabilities
- Suggest necessary counter measures to mitigate security risk
- Develop and maintain necessary software, and tools to automate overall process of vulnerability analysis on upcoming mobile devices. Create necessary processes for security and test team to follow as part of new release
- Create periodic report on device security trends and make suggestions for necessary mitigation and action plans
- Create documents around process followed within security team as part of secure development.
- Create necessary documents to describe day-to-day issues in an effective manner to get right support from development teams.
- Timely provision of written progress reports to your team leader.
- Active participation and representation as necessary in various security conferences
- Liaison with external parties and security researcher to gain latest information on security
- All work is to be of a professional standard, paying due regard to safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness, time scales and the needs of the company
