Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:45 - 17:00 (13:00 on Friday)
Contract: Temporary - Permanent
Pay: £13.00 - £17.00
An Engineering company based in Pershore are searching for a MIG Welder to join their team on a temporary - permanent basis working Monday - Friday 07:45 - 17:00 with a 13:00 finish on Fridays. The company themselves are a well-known company who offer theirservices to a range of UK and International clients.
As a MIG Welder you will be responsible for:
Read and interpret blueprints
Select the appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios for different jobs
Prepare both metals and work surfaces for the production process
Measure, cut, and drill materials to meet the specifications of the project
Test the strength of your welds after each has been made
Keep your welding tools clean and functional
Assist us in maintaining our inventory and the cleanliness of our shop
Follow all relevant safety procedures and protocols
As a MIG Welder you will be required to:
Proven work experience in the Construction industry as a MIG Welder or Welder
Familiarity with welding tools and equipment like gauntlet cuff gloves, auto-darkening welding helmet, and MIG pliers
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Able to work as a team and independently when needed.
A good work ethic and drive to learn new skills will be beneficial.
Ready and willing to work overtime when required by the business.
