Purchase Ledger Clerk

Grafton Banks Finance are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a commercial, growing client based near Eastbourne. Reporting into the PL Manager, this role is a fast-paced, high-volume role to provide purchase ledger support to the finance department.
Duties will include:
- Processing a high-volume invoices, general invoice administration
- Setting up and amending supplier accounts
- Assisting with weekly payments (BACS/CHAPS)
- Checking and reconciling supplier statements
- Dealing with AP queries
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders on a frequent basis, ensuring that any queries handled in a timely manner
- Ad hoc support across the finance department
Essential experience:
- 1-2 years of prior purchase ledger/accounts payable experience within a fast paced role
- Strong IT skills, confident Excel user and experience using a range of accountancy systems
- Ability to commute to offices
