We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and serving customers whilst providing excellent customer service. We are a small team working together and the position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

- Assist with food preparation and presentation for catering events
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Clean and maintain catering equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure all events run smoothly
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating quantities
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety guidelines
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or menu items

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 17 per week
