**Who is Senior Bird Bellows?**

Based in Congleton, Cheshire, Senior Bird Bellows was established in 1975 as a family run operation serving the petro-chemical and gas industries. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

**What are the responsibilities of an Indirect Buyer?**
- Manage the procurement of indirect categories such as, but not limited to; office goods, consumables, tooling, hire contracts, services, and utilities.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with suppliers to ensure value, compliance, and performance.
- Management and benchmark existing suppliers, utilising standard work tools and working with key stakeholders for alternative products/sources of supply.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of system; order management and invoice query processing.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and supplier consolidation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Provide effective contract negotiation generating savings and reducing costs in alignment with business needs and market trends
- Responsible for the end-to-end tender management including tender report, presentation, contract analysis and negotiation.
- Responsibility to deliver Purchase Price Variance to budget.
- Support the development of Indirect supply chain strategy with the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager.
- Provide All departments with Purchasing support and input as required.
- Fulfil auditing and compliance requirements related to Procurement processes
