**What does the Business Industry Year involve?**

We’re one of the world’s top 3 manufacturers of construction equipment. For Business students, there couldn’t be a better opportunity to dip your toe in the water of your chosen profession. This one-year placement commences at the beginning of the academic year in September and offers you tailored rotations that allow you to experience different business areas with a global giant

Whichever placement you are in, you’ll be assured of the chance to solve complex problems and you will have the opportunity to be involved in community based and education STEM activities, and become a registered STEM Ambassador. You could also follow-up on the programme with a further summer placement and if you really excel, we operate a conditional offer process; for the highest performing placement students who are fast tracked to our graduate scheme once you graduate with a 2:1 or above.

**How do I qualify for a Year In Industry?**

You’ll currently be on track for a 2:1 or higher in your Business related degree. What’s more, you’ll be motivated, tenacious and driven by a desire to get things done in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for people who are passionate about their area of study and itching to learn more. You might come from Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, HR, Finance or Purchasing. You will have at least one further year of study following the internship. What's certain is that, if you’re not already located near to Staffordshire, you’ll be willing to relocate here for the year.
