Purpose

As a Volunteer Co-ordinator you will work as part of a team to attract, to manage, drive and influence performance through provision through Skills and Volunteer management. You will manage a caseload of volunteers by recruiting, training, coordinating and developing to deliver high quality expert volunteer support to our Work and Health Programme participants, whilst working with external stakeholders to procure skills and training to participants on the Work and Health Programme. This adds value to what Shaw Trust offers its Work and Health Programme participants, and that meets with the organisation’s values.

You will promote the Skills and Expert Volunteer Offer to our teams on The Work and Health Programme and give support to helping our participants get the right intervention support at the right time on their journey with us to enhance their journey back to work.

You will work alongside other internal Support Services to coordinate and develop our market leading offer available for participants on the Work and Health Programme.

Experience of using and updating CRM systems
Experience of managing community based initiatives on a regional basis
In depth experience of regional stakeholder management
Experience in dealing with and influencing a wide range of people

**Location**:
This is a hybrid role which will require frequent (2-3 Days a week) travel into Birmingham and surrounding areas.
