**Position**:
This role will be responsible for Indirect Purchasing categories for The Glenmorangie Company. The buyer will also play an active role in the MH Purchasing Community by being a part of transversal initiatives. A key aspect of the role it to build and manage optimal stakeholder relationships whilst being able to guarantee that suppliers meet the financial, quality and timing objectives set for the products/services in the portfolio.

**What would a typical day look like?**
- Prepare and defend the budget for the portfolio, along with the two budget revisions.
- Supports dispute handling with suppliers and its resolution.
- Prepare the dashboard of activity on a monthly basis and takes the necessary actions to achieve the expected results.
- Contribute to successfully deliver specific projects within the company.
- Anticipates future trends by conducting innovation watch activities.
- Where necessary, initiates and participates in quality audits, and is responsible for the post-audit action plan.
- Proposes, obtains approval and roll-out the corresponding purchasing strategy, and proposes changes to this strategy when required.
- Conducts negotiations on an autonomous basis for re-occuring products/services.
- Continuously identifies and oversees cost reduction plan.
- Align priorities with the business objectives.
- Guarantee a total compliance with Glenmorangie and MH guidelines.
- Prepare a detailed market analysis, including threats and opportunities, and identifies new local or international suppliers.

**Profile**:
**Technical Skills & Experience Required**:

- Impactful communicator and presenter
- Experienced purchasing professional
- Successful experience (at least 5 years) in a business environment, including at least 2 years in Purchasing of Indirect and Capital expense categories.
- Knowledge of the Wines & Spirits sector
