Finance Assistant - South East London (Permanent, Full time)
This school is looking to grow the finance team by recruiting a Finance Assistant. This is a newly created role due to the growth within the business and you will be reporting directly to the Financial Manager.
The role would suit someone studying towards AAT or with good ledger experience.
Previous 1-2 years of Finance experience is desirable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Purchase Ledger -processing invoices and Supplier statements reconciliation
- Sales Ledger - raising invoices and credit control
- Issuing purchase orders
- Reconciling Petty Cash
- Posting Staff Expenses and Timesheets allocation
- Posting journals
- Assisting with Bank reconciliations
- Any other ad hoc admin tasks
**Key Skills Required**:
- Strong IT skills including Outlook and Excel
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
- Organisation and prioritisation to meet daily and monthly accountabilities
- Previous experience in accounting systems or Xero accounting is preferable.
**Benefits include: 25 days holiday (rising to 30) plus pension/parking
