This business has a track record of developing its people and due to in an internal promotion and business growth, they are now looking for someone to join their small but friendly finance team.
Working onsite based in a village location between Huntingdon and Peterborough, it will suit someone who has taken the initiative and started studying towards their AAT qualification and is looking to continue to develop their skills from a practical standpoint.
The duties will include
Matching, coding and entering purchase invoices
Looking after weekly payment runs
Handling and resolving any queries where appropriate
Bank reconciliations
Posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Taking responsibility for company credit cards and processing transactions
Inventory adjustments
Inputting hours to timesheet system
Ad hoc duties
A good understanding of Excel is essential and some experience with finance systems preferred, although full training will be given.
Due to the rural location of this role, own transport is essential as is being someone who is happy to muck in.
This business has a history of staff retention and alongside AAT study support, the right person will have access to a competitive benefits package and an early finish on a Friday
