Our client, a leading wealth management and professional services group is looking for an experienced financial crime officer to work on all relevant financial crime issues for their Tax and Business Services Division.

Reporting directly to the Financial Crime Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Sanctions/PEP/Enforcement Screening - overseeing the management of the escalated alerts resulting of the screening new and existing clients, and payments, against Financial Sanctions
- Dealing with enquiries about non-standard AML verification issues. Review, research and approve EDD for higher-risk potential clients (Medium & High Risk)
Ongoing Enhanced Due Diligence - Overseeing enhanced ongoing monitoring of higher-risk clients
- Overseeing the maintenance of all financial crime registers and logs to ensure accurate record keeping
- General advice and financial crime matters

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Relevant financial crime experience from a Tax or Accountancy background
- Have up-to-date knowledge of the rules, regulations and guidance in respect of all aspects of financial crime
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
