Positive approach care are looking to recruit an experienced Co-ordinator / recruitment consultant to work in between Liverpool and Blackpool. This will be to work from the Blackpool office primarily however while assisting with building the business in our new Liverpool Branch with the aim to be working Primarily in Liverpool within 12 weeks after full training in Blackpool.

Working as part of our team you must be passionate about the delivery of outstanding care. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the care industry, being able to demonstrate your ability to undertake hands-on care work, you need to be able to carry out risk assessment's, care plans, Rotas and adapt to the companies ever changing needs.

The role of the Care Co-ordinator/ Recruitment Consultant will be split between office-based and field based. This would be contracted hours based on the needs of the business role is inclusive of the on-call, on rota basis. Good rates of pay, holiday entitlements included.

Driver Required for this post as the person will be needed to travel to Blackpool and Liverpool to help grow the business.

Knowledge of People planner would be a huge advantage. Experience in co-ordinating required.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Keeping good communication with the homes.
- Ability to prepare care plans furthermore, dealing with updates and also start new packages when required.
- Flexibility to provide cover shifts where needed.
- Liaising with Clients directly both at the start of their service and throughout the duration of the service.
- Conducting staff weekly rotas, amending shifts, covering staff holiday, sickness. Etc
- Liaising with staff regarding training
- Supervising the care staff, ensuring they are adhering to the required quality and legal standards within their job role.
- Carrying out spot checks on staff, telephone spot checks.
- Working closely with the Management team and Directors to effectively plan the care service.
- Providing guidance, training and shadowing to the care team.
- To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.
- Professionally and promptly answer telephone calls, ensuring people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner.
- To maintain confidentiality at all times and carry out the Company’s Confidentiality Policy.
- Being part of the on-call team on rota basis.
- To take staff through the recruitment process smoothly from indeed to induction.
**The main requirements for the role are**:

- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to build a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent understanding of English language, both written and spoken
- An even-tempered and patient nature, having the ability to adapt to each individual need using empathy where required.
- Competent IT skills are essential. Knowledge of rostering systems helpful
