**About the role**

As our System Administrator you will help protect our data, systems and assets whilst also assisting in deploying

new software and hardware. You help in developing the overall IT strategy and on occasion assist in developing

training programs for various elements of our technology environment. You will support our users with day-to
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Suggest and implement enhancements and changes via a controlled change management process
- Monitor and report on system vulnerabilities and overall health metrics
- Implement and manage a ticket-based helpdesk system, identify trends and root causes in support issues raised
- Mediate between internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and improve systems
- Conduct routine audits of the systems including user access and backups
- Document system configurations and SOPs
- Roll out upgrades
- Spread awareness internally around IT and Data security
- Assist in implementing and maintaining an ISO27001 ISMS
- Support the business with internal and external audits and RFIs

- Availability and security of IT Infrastructure
- Speedy response and resolution of IT issues
- Accuracy of communication, documentation, and reporting
- Compliance to internal and external policies and standards

We’ll give you the best start in your role, we will show you the Sonex way. This includes up to 6-weeks training and coaching to get you started and provide you with everything you need to succeed.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills Criteria**
- Minimum A Level or equivalent standard or extensive previous work experience as below
- 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role
- IT Infrastructure & Operating Systems, preferably IS027001
- Information Security Principles
- PCI DSS
- Network Infrastructure (Structured Cabling, Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Server & Desktop Operating Systems (Microsoft)
- Azure Active Directory
- Active Directory User Administration
- Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365
- VoIP (SIP) Telephony
- Troubleshooting
- Documentation
