Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to provide general support for a KS1 class of 12 children with special educational needs. The children in this class are quite independent and some are more able pupils.
This is a full-time role, to start in September until the end of the year.
You will be working in school for children aged between 3 and 11 years with learning difficulties and additional complex needs such as autism, physical or sensory impairments.
**To be considered for this role you will need to**:
- Have experience working with children with SEN
- Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the groups of children and the rest of the class
- Implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups
- Act as a role model and set high expectations
- Compliment the work of teachers and take responsibility for agreed learning activities.
