As a Buyer you will:
- Meet all purchasing metrics on ontime delivery, po placement, rescheduling targets.
- Actively work any purchase order rescheduling / cancelation requests to meet contractual / site goals on inventory and ITO.
- Backorder management via root cause, corrective action and ensuring reporting is completed on deadline.
- Use strong supplier management skills to ensure escalations are taken to highest level to get solution and ensure team are driving weekly contact with key suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to working procedures.
- Attend weekly KOI meetings and will prepare for root cause and corrective action for off target metrics.
- Look for and implement process improvements.
- Create and maintain Item supplier information parameters on purchasing data. i.e (Price list/Leadtime maintenance/generation on vendors).
- Ensure awareness of Supplier Statement of work documents and Terms and Conditions and work supplier to this criteria.
- Partake in regular business reviews with suppliers.
- Question existing process and input and suggest continuous improvements to current processes.
