Apprentice Greenkeeper

**Summary**

We are seeking a Greenkeeper to join our team at Rodway Hill Golf Course. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the golf course's grounds to ensure optimal playing conditions. Your contributions will help enhance the overall experience for our golfers and visitors.

You will be enrolled into a course a Berkshire College Studying Level 2 Greenkeeping.

2 Year Contract - 1st Year will be apprentice wage and 2nd Year will be Minimum Wage at which point we may be in a position to offer you a full time role.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain the golf course by mowing, watering, and fertilizing the greens and fairways.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate areas of the course as needed to promote healthy growth.
- Assist in building and repairing structures on the course as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs.
- Implement landscape maintenance practices to enhance aesthetics and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations throughout the course.

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Pay: £15,704.00-£25,500.00 per year
