We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our warehouse team as Warehouse Workers / Packaging Staff.
As a Warehouse Worker / Packaging Staff member, your responsibilities will include:
**Order Management**:
- Receive and process incoming customer orders via our eCommerce platform.
- Verify the accuracy of orders, including product type, quantity, and shipping information.
**Packaging Staff**:
- Prepare products for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods.
- Ensure products are securely and safely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Accurately label each package with the correct shipping information and tracking details.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure orders are correctly packaged and labeled.
**Inventory Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are adequately stocked for fulfilling orders.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Assist in restocking products as needed, including unloading shipments and restocking shelves.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
**Quality Control**:
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet our company's standards.
- Report any damaged or defective items to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Follow established quality control procedures to maintain product quality.
**Health and Safety**:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
**Courier Coordination**:
- Coordinate with courier companies to schedule order pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure packages are ready for pickup on time, and all necessary documentation is provided.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and tracking information.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or eCommerce fulfillment role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and labeling.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and carry packages can be of various weights.
- Stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
