**SWIFT** childcare is an **award winning apprenticeship** provider established over 10 years ago now. At SWIFT we know that becoming a **world class childcare practitioner **doesn’t just happen over night, like everything, you need to learn your craft and develop practical skills to become an effective childcare professional. That’s why our apprenticeship programs are developed to provide people with the opportunity to learn everything they need to now to build a successful career in childcare to **make a difference to future generations**.

Working with a Variety of **quality nursery's** across the North London Area. Here at SWIFT we only work with a nursery if they are an supportive, enthusiastic and committed to helping our apprentices achieve their next steps into a career in childcare. Our **13-month course** has a **100% pass rate** with **80% of learners gaining a distinction grade **at the end of the qualification.

**The main responsibilities of this job role will include**:

- Working towards **Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship**.
- Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns **whilst having fun**.
- Being a team player.
- **Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children**:

- Taking part in First Aid training as required
- Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
- Working with teams across the nursery setting
- **Supporting children’s learning and development.**:

- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
- Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
- Supporting children’s self-help needs.
- **Being creative and enthusiastic**.
- Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

All the nursery's SWIFT childcare work with are located in the vicinity of excellent transport links and amenities. We work with you to find a setting that is close to you and somewhere that you feel you could grow and develop into a world class nursery practitioner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £5.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- childcare: 1 year (preferred)
