If you are as passionate about AppSec as we are, we invite you to be part of the AppSec Research Group in Checkmarx, a leading company in the field of Application Security Testing.
As an Application Security Researcher, you will be a part of the Checkmarx Application Security Research Group. You will be researching different languages, technologies, and software vulnerabilities, finding 0-days, and improving our AppSec education portal and code scanners. You will collaborate with security specialists, analysts, and developers to improve Checkmarx’s AppSec solutions.

Responsibilities: *
- Research different security facets of multiple programming languages and technologies
- Perform analysis of the existing vulnerabilities and break them apart
- Work closely with instructional designers to convert complex technical content into easy to comprehend education material for software developers
- Analyze code containing various vulnerabilities written in multiple languages
- Research open-source products for 0-day vulnerabilities
- Support developers and relevant stakeholders on information security topics
**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with both interpreted and compiled languages
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies independently
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to drive collaboration and innovation
- Ability to handle multiple requests and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English - both writing and oral presentation skills
