**The Role**:
As a Construction Planner, you will be instrumental in the planning and executing our construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed plans and schedules for construction projects, from tender to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Utilise project management software and tools to track project performance and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and building codes.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on project timelines and progress.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations. A minimum of five years experience as a Planner for a general contractor in the UK is required.
- Demonstrated experience with JCT and NEC forms of contracts, including familiarity with standard contract formats, negotiation, and administration.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), with the ability to utilise these tools for effective project tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of anticipating potential issues and developing practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
