You will be able to work in a collaborative culture making a difference in wider society and the environment. After an exciting period of growth, they are now looking for a dynamic Product Development Engineer to join the Brinsea family.

**Job Purpose**:
As Brinsea's Electrical Design Engineer you will have the incredible opportunity to see your design come to life, as the full process of design through to manufacturing happens all in the same place You will be working closely with the Technical Directorand tech team, taking ownership of new products as well as the constant improvements of existing ones.

Brinsea have an extensive in-house design and testing facilities complete with 3D CAD and an active product development program. You will also be involved with supporting local industries and working on reducing ever products carbon footprint.

Joining the Brinsea team as this exiting point of growth as their Electrical Design Engineer you will be given vast progression and leadership options looking to build out a team of your own in the near future.

**Other responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Refining each concept into a detailed design, normally onto CAD system in line with a detailed design brief.
- Construction of prototypes.
- Creation and maintenance of detailed technical files for each product including specification of key components
- Ensuring that statutory or agreed operational and design standards (e.g. EMC, Electrical Safety, etc.) are met
- Liaison where necessary with outside specialists: design consultants, test labs., etc.

**Skills you need**:

- Training/experience in electrical / electronic / electro-mechanical engineering
- Experience of entire process from design to manufacturing of a full product. (Ideal experienced in full process and any electrical home appliances)
- Proficient in 3D CAD and draughting (desired)
