Secondary KS3-KS4-KS-5 Religious Studies Teacher.
We are working with an Outstanding Academy who is looking for a well-qualified, passionate and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Studies to join their supportive and motivated department.
Applications from both experienced teachers, especially those ready to take on additional responsibilities, as well as ECTs are welcome
Job Purpose: To ensure high quality curriculum provision and effective teaching and learning within the RS curriculum area, in both KS3 and KS4, and to carry out the professional duties of a qualified teacher, full of wonderful students and staff and anamazing and supportive SLT. To provide opportunities for young people to develop the knowledge, skills and wisdom necessary for effective learning to enable learners to develop their intellectual, social, moral, spiritual and physical potential to the fullin order to become proactive members of both the local and wider community To increase aspirations by exploiting educational innovations and opportunities in the best interests of our students and staff.
If you are a passionate and dedicated teacher with QTS or you will be gaining your QTS in the next few months, we would love to hear from you.
- Hold a Teaching Degree
- Hold a Valid QTS
- Are driven to engage and work with enthusiastic and committed students
- Good English communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate and implement behaviour management strategies
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
