Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a manufacturing business in the Liverpool area who are recruiting for a **Transformational Payroll Project Manager**to join their team. You will be responsible for a full overhaul on the Payroll Software, Team, policy and procedure and process improvement and future planning for the team.
**Key Duties/Tasks**:
- Trouble shooting for current issues & areas of development.
- Looking at function of the team, team set up and requirements.
- Breakdown of payroll and delivery methods.
- System review.
- Providing reports and advice.
- Making recommendations and options for new service delivery.
- Working with payroll team and wider management to forge solutions.
- Create a payroll project plan.
- Delivery and implementation of recommendations.
- Business as usual input were required.
- Software assessment and implementation.
- Projection plan.
- Producing reports for senior management.
**Desirable skills and attributes**:
- Payroll experience as a Payroll Manager or Payroll project manager.
- Full and comprehensive understanding of payroll function.
- Experience of collaborating with different departments and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Experience of Automation, continuous improvement, process implementation.
