**HSE Coordinator**

**£38,000 + £300pm car**

**Hexthorpe**

My client, an established manufacturer of safety critical transport solution, is looking for a HSE Coordinator to join their existing team based in Hexthorpe.

This is a unique opportunity that will enable someone to utilise their HSE skill set in a challenging manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be working within a small HSE team, providing day-to-day to support and advice to the Hexthorpe site, including 2 warehouses, and 2 additional office buildings across the UK.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Promoting health, safety and environmental policies and procedures, demonstrating the right behaviours and attitude.
- Supporting the HSSE Manager with all accident/incident investigations and for ensuring that corrective actions are put in place and/or are followed up.
- Carrying out internal audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Completing risk assessment and associated documentation, ensuring that they comply with the Company's in-house standards and legislation. Maintenance of the Risk Assessment Register.
- Managing the Permit to Work system and contractor management for external contractors to site.
- Compiling the health, safety and environmental statistics for the group when required and reporting on them, highlighting areas of significant concern or progress monthly.
- Working with facilities contractors to ensure maintenance work is scheduled and completed in line with HSE policies on site.

**Training and experience required**:

- NEBOSH qualified.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with FLT safety on a busy site is preferred but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
