Newbury College is looking to recruit a full time Carpentry Lecturer. You will be responsible for the effective organisation and delivery of teaching of all Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Standards. You will also deliver teaching to Level One, Carpentry Multi Skills and Transition Pathway students.

You must have:

- Level 2 Maths and English
- Experience as an industry professional
- Teacher - PGCE or NVQ equivalent
- A Degree or equivalent in a related vocational area
- Assessor Qualification

It would be beneficial if you also have:

- Level 3 English, Maths and ICT
- IV Qualification

Construction Technology at Newbury College is going places. We have built a new electrical workshop that trains our best technicians to light up the County. In We have opened a brand-new Renewables Centre that features ahead of the curve equipment in solar, fuel cells and ground source heat pumps.

Carpentry is the next stage of the transformation and we are expanding Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeships as well as providing level 1-3 expertise for our learners. We have a purpose-built workshop complete with kitchen bays, fully equipped tools and full-size benches. Our Carpenters take pride in building everything from a roof apex to kitchen fittings, staircases and window frames
