**SEN Teaching Assistant**

We are specifically working with SEN school in the Skelmersdale area who are looking for an outstanding TA to join their SEN Teams until the end of the academic year. This school is for young people aged 11 to 16 who have individual needs based on**Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties**. They are a purpose-built school with facilities designed to support our learners towards success.This particular role is to support the needs of students with SEN with a number of different needs.To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour. Experience of working with SEN is required.

This post is to start in September and will be ongoing.

**CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS**
- Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of work - Teaching Support
- Start date - February half term
- Location: Skelmersdale
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - £75 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree educated with a good classification
- Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

**TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
