Falls Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Falls Team to help provide an organisational awareness across all three sites of the impact and importance of minimising the risks of inpatient falls. To work with the lead act as drivers of qualitative, innovative, productive, nursing care which promotes best practice to minimise the patients risk of falling and empowering the staff to achieve safe and effective care.

To work along aside the lead to provide clinical leadership, education and training to promote proactive rather than reactive falls prevention across all three sites. Maintain a high clinical profile by visible presence providing education, support, and advice to the clinical staff on the wards. Monitor and critically analyse falls data to help support and implement change. To be able to effectively communicate and build relationships across all the multidisciplinary teams.

Post holder will take an active role in the delivery of the falls objectives

Facilitate with the falls panels for the falls with harm

Act as a professional role model and educational resource

Provide and deliver educational sessions

Monitor and critically analyse falls data

Build effective relationships by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language
