I am currently working with a successful Financial Planning practice who are seeking an additional Training and Competency Manager (T&C) to focus on Independent Financial Planner development and competence.

This role would suit a T&C specialist or even a Financial Adviser or Paraplanner/ Compliance Specilaist looking to make a career change.

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is required to be considered for this role.

**Key Duties**:

- Undertaking Teams based and face to face compliance and supervision coaching with advisers in line with the firms business practice manual and training & development scheme
- Supporting the development of adviser competence
- Identifying the training needs of new and existing colleagues by liaising with business quality team
- Assessing advisers training needs
- File reviews for lesser experienced advisers under direct supervision
- Creating and managing development plans for advisers with training needs
- Contributing to the design and delivery of training and development programmes
- Providing updates on trainee progression, general attitude and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervising, coaching and mentoring trainee advisers (or those deemed as non-competent).

**The offering**

The salary on offer will depend on background, level of experience and qualification but will be in the region of £35,000 - £55,000 per annum.
