DCL Group Ltd is a small, independent courier company specialising in time critical, overnight, and multi drop support services to some of the national parcel networks.
We pride ourselves on being the service partner of choice for several well-known national delivery brands, which is in no small part down to the level of service and flexibility we give each client.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on our in-night trunking & delivery route which runs from Plymouth to Birmingham each night. This is a time-sensitive and strategically important contract, meaning the driver must have the utmost reliability, integrity and attention to detail.
We provide everything you will need including the van, fuel, insurance etc - WITHOUT ANY DEDUCTIONS TO YOU. You just need to provide yourself, safety shoes, a working mobile phone equipped with WhatsApp, as well as a willingness to work hard ensuring the job gets done to the high standards expected of you. In return, we offer a basic rate of £130 per night with the opportunity to earn a £50 weekly bonus after your first 4 weeks. This is on a self-employed basis and paid weekly in arrears.
The working day starts at around 4.30pm and ends at around 6.30am the following morning. There will be a break in Birmingham of around 2-3 hours, before you reload with the return goods. There will be several stops to make along the way.
This is a long shift and will not suit everyone. It runs 5 nights per week, Monday night through to Friday night.
Applicants should have no more than 6 penalty points on their licence.
A job share arrangement may be considered for the right applicant(s).
