Our mission is to improve health and health equity in the UK and worldwide; working in partnership to achieve excellence in public and global health research, education and translation of knowledge into policy and practice.
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is seeking two proactive and dynamic administrators for the role of Centres Coordinators. These roles provide crucial operational support to Centre Directors in delivering the centre strategy through engagement and income generation activities.
We are currently home to 13 Centres. These cross-Faculty networks of academics collaborate and innovate to address global health challenges on topics including pandemic preparedness, vaccines, humanitarian crises, malaria, and antimicrobial resistance.
The post holders are the first point of contact for all administrative and logístical support for a portfolio of Centres. They must be a self-starter, able to work independently to see tasks through to completion and be solutions-focused. They must have experience of delivering excellence in administration for their stakeholders. They will be responsible for day-to-day financial management of the Centres, and will also provide event support and work with Communications & Engagement team colleagues on strategic engagement activities. A keen interest in furthering the global health mission of LSHTM through engagement activities is a must. The post is based in the Communications & Engagement Team and reports to the Strategic Engagement & Operations Manager.
