**About You**

Are you from a commodity purchasing background within the manufacturing or automotive industry looking for a new challenge.

Ideally you will have previous experience of Wiring Harness, Cast Iron, Aluminium Die Cast, Injection Mouldings, PCB’s, Electronic Components & Switches, Steel and Silicone Products. We will also consider an automotive background.

A collaborator that can manage suppliers, who understands contracts and negotiations, and has knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, as well as ERP/MRP systems.

Ideally you will have CIPS level 4 or working towards it, but experience is also important so if you are willing to undertake the qualification, then we want to hear from you.

**About the Role**

You will be joining an established Procurement team working closely with other departments to deliver an effective procurement strategy, as well as supporting New Product Introduction (NPI).

You will manage relationships with suppliers to ensure they are consistently able to meet our needs to provide the best high-quality raw materials and components for our products, with the ability to negotiate contracts.

Mitigate material price increase as well as shortage risks and identify cost reduction opportunities and negotiate the best price for our raw materials.
