**Electrical Fitter**

**Our Opportunity**

Thales Land and Air Systems (LAS) Air Operation and Weapons (AOW) business unit is looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join the highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team based in Belfast

An experienced Electrician, you will be responsible for the manufacture of complex cables and electrical assemblies within the space propulsion domain

You will be an experienced electrical fitter, ideally a time served electrician who has worked within the space or aerospace industries where you will be responsible for performing a number of highly qualified, complex operations and organising the work in line with procedures

**About You**

You will have experience within a production environment within space or aerospace with a City & Guilds in Electronics or equivalent.

You will have experienced working in the assembly/soldering/crimping of small electronic components

You will have the ability to work under pressure (tight deadlines) and be capable of working to Manufacturing Instruction and Engineering drawings together with knowledge of and ability to work to the quality standards required within the missile industry

You will multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision. You’ll have the ability to establish and meet deadlines. A proactive individual with excellent communication skills who can engage with all levels of stakeholders and disciplines to establish a system-centric way of working.
