**The Company**:
A local plumbing and heating company, who have multiple sites within Bristol are looking for a van driver to join them on a permanent basis. The company supplies and delivers various types of plumbing and heating equipment to several clients across Bristol and take pride in the service and produce that is delivered.

**The Opportunity**:
Operating from their depot in Bristol (BS3) you will be required to load and unload the van and complete anywhere between 8-25 drops (dependant on the route) around Bristol. You will be dropping to independent stores and customers so you will be required to pick off the back of the vehicle and handball the products into their stores/homes.

This role will also be required to help in the warehouse if needed, for example if you are only required for half the day with the van, the job will be at least 70% van work so you will mostly be in that, but if an extra pair of hands is needed in the warehouse then this will be expected from you.

For the first 12 weeks of the role, full training is provided, you will be with an experienced driver/driver’s mate/warehouse op to help you complete your drops and unload the vehicle and complete any warehouse jobs.

Start times
- 07:00am-17:00pm **Monday to Friday**(flexible if you wish to start a bit later and finish a bit later)

**You will also be required to work around one Saturday per month which tends to be a shorter day**

**Saturday
- 8am-12:30pm**

You are contracted to 42.5 hour weeks.

In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary of £25,000 per year + a 10% (of salary) performance bonus and this will be paid in 3 equal 4 monthly payments. There is also a body and mind bonus structure which allows you to earn £300 for no sickness days throughout the year and this is paid TAX FREE.

**Key Requirements**:

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in commercial van driving is preferred
- The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skill
- Unfortunately, we cannot take anyone with a DR10 on their licence
