**Junior Sports Clothing Designer**

Location: Swansea, SA5 4HH

Quatro are a leading global gymnastics brand and the Official sponsors of Gymnastics Ireland and Scottish Gymnastics. Attending events in USA, Europe and UK we are rapidly expanding our global customer base as well as our our active-wear product range. We are looking for an exceptional sports fashion designer to join our team on a 1 year contract to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a professional and motivated individual, well organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You must have a creative mind and the confidence to push sports fashion to new limits. Take pride in their work and liaise directly with our sales team to fulfil design requirements. You will work with a team of experienced designers developing our gymnastics clothing and active-wear offering to our wide array of customers.

Role include;
- Designing custom team orders (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
- Working with our internal sales team to deliver new designs in line with specifications
- Able to interpret a customers brief, liaise with the sales team to deliver the vision
- Creating product tech packs ready for manufacturing
- Developing our on-line kit builder designs
- Opportunity to assist in the development of new collections
- Working to tight deadlines with high degree of accuracy
- Working as part of the design team to provide an effective and efficient service to various areas of the business.
- Supporting the business in adding value to its clients, understanding and researching new product development opportunities.
- Share knowledge of manufacturing process and techniques.
- Attending customer facing events in the UK
**The Person**:

- Passionate about sports fashion
- High level of graphic design skills (Adobe Suite, Illustrator and Photoshop proficient)
- Experience in surface pattern design is preferable
- Business awareness in order to understand the cost and time constrains
- Excellent IT skills and the desire to keep up to date with new developments in design software
**Skills**
- **Degree in Fashion design, Surface Pattern Design or relevant Graphic Design degree**:

- **Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (required) & Photoshop (preferred)**:

- **Strong hand drawing and digital rendering skills**:

- **Good interpersonal and presentation skills**:

- **Highly organised and able to effectively manage your own workload and be able to maintain accuracy**:

- **Ability to meet tight deadlines when required**:

- **Excellent attention to detail with good all round communication skills**:

- **Innovative and creative, with excellent PC skills, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Outlook)**
