**Purchase Ledger Clerk** **Permanent** **Location: Windsor** **Salary : £22,000 - £24,000** **Ref: VisionFR2800** **VisionFR** are excited to be recruiting a motivated and passionate **Purchase Ledger Clerk**who will contribute to creating a first-class finance function in a creative entertainment agency. This will be a multifaceted and busy role. The role of the **Purchase Ledger Clerk**: - To lead on the maintenance and management of the Purchase ledgers for - To support the Finance Manager to develop controls, processes and protocols to ensure smooth and effective financial management, reporting and continued growth. The **Purchase Ledger Clerk** will be responsible for: - Taking ownership for the processing of all supplier invoices - Responsible for the daily AP reconcile - Handling of both Internal and external stakeholder expenses and petty cash - Reconciling and processing of the company credit cards - Matching Purchase Orders to Invoices and chasing where necessary any missing supplier invoices - Identifying and journaling of all Pre-payments and accruals - Identifying assets, ensuring they are journaled to the correct nominal codes - Timely Processing and checking of Fee Schedules ensuring these are both contractually correct and calculated correctly - Preparing weekly payments run ready for sign off by the Finance Manager and Directors. - Raising of Ad hoc payment runs when required - Dealing with all Supplier queries and escalating these accordingly - Supplier statement reconciliations, ready for month-end management accounts - A working knowledge of the Equity and UK Theatres, agreements and regulations - Assist with the sales ledger when required - Assist with month-end duties and reporting where required - Any other duties appropriate to the post and under the Equalities Act with due consideration to any employees with a "protected characteristic" and within the framework of equal opportunities. - Continually review systems, processes, and procedures with the aim of ensuring that they are efficient, robust, and adding value to the company - Lead on creating a culture of pride in the workplace by always ensuring clean and well - presented public and office spaces Requirements of the **Purchase Ledger Clerk**: - Demonstrate experience of working within accounts / finance team with up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation - Demonstrable experience of standard accounting practice and accounts payable ledger management. - Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Demonstrable experience of pre-payments, accruals, and assets - Experience of Using Microsoft Navision - Minimum 2 years experience working in accounts payable - Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) - VisionFR is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, inclusion and eliminating unlawful discrimination within our workforce and whilst fulfilling our Client recruitment needs._
