PMO Manager

Reporting into the COO of this growing IT managed service provider and managing a team of dedicated Project Managers, you will also drive continuous evolution of the PMO function through proactively identifying and implementing improvements to processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee customer projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and motivate a small team of Project Managers including performance management, absence management and communication
- Create and improve Project Management tools, policies and procedures and ensure consistent use across the team
- Project manage large scale projects
- Continue to grow and develop the team through taking ownership of recruitment, coaching and upskilling existing staff
- Collaborate with commercial and technical colleagues to scope and finalise projects
- Manage the successful transition of projects into support services
- Assist with escalations from Project Managers on risks and delays throughout the life of a project and help them find creative solutions to solve problems
- Report to customers and senior leadership team on project and programme progress

About You
- CCNA, CISSP, MCSE, or similar IT certification.
- 3 years of experience in a project management role.
- Previous line management / team leading experience is an advantage
- A Project Management certification e.g. PRINCE2 is preferred.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
